Collins Angels Inc. was founded in 2012 by Alecia Collins-Andrews to provide compassionate support to families in North Pinellas County. Initially funded by Alecia, her family, and close friends, the organization became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2023. Our mission began with offering holiday assistance in a unique, dignified way: rather than pre-selecting gifts, we invite donors to contribute freely and allow parents to choose items their children will truly love. Each July, we begin collecting toys, clothing, books, stationery, and other essentials, which are carefully organized by age groups and displayed for families to select during scheduled appointments.

Beyond holiday support, Collins Angels extends year-round assistance by providing rental and utility reference services, as well as guidance in accessing critical resources such as Medicaid and SNAP. Volunteers play a vital role in helping us serve children ages 0–16, and each year we welcome new board members and community supporters to join our mission.
